Mtwara. After Tanzanians living in Mozambique subjected to acts of violence and expulsion, the government in the region has been forced to transport using vehicles of Tanzania People's Defence Force (TPDF) in order to bring them closer to their home regions.
Mtwara Regional Immigration Officer, Rose Mhagama said until yesterday, Tanzanian subscribers in border dike coming from Mozambique were 220.
He said 109 people ready for the first phase have been trafficked, who thanked the government and residents of Mtwara to receive and give various charities.
One of the repatriated, Mwajuma Abdallah said: "We thank the Mtwara and the Government in general to receive us well today (yesterday) we return home."
