OFFICAL URGED TO SAY THE TRUTH ABOUT HUNGER IN SHINYANGA

Shinyanga. Member of Perliament in Shinyanga, Stephen Masele has urged leaders to speak the truth about the famine and stop fearing butchered.

Masele said this yesterday when he visited the various wards of the province to receive concerns of citizens and work.

Implored the government to recognize that people are hungry with no food while begging available food sold at cheaper prices.

"All the places I passed I met with cries of their citizens applying for food assistance due to some of them claim to suffer from food shortages and high prices.

"President John Magufuli begs to help him, and we helped him by telling him the fact that citizens are hungry government officials do not speak the truth for fear of thrust," said Masele.
